How can I tell if my pet is at a healthy weight?
That’s a good question. Your pet’s ideal weight will depend on their breed and their age. While we don’t know the ideal weight, we can tell you what their ideal “look” is. For cats and dogs (people too!) it is easy to see when they are overweight. Even without a scale.
Have a look and see which pet’s image fits your pet’s image the best. If your pet is scores a 4 or 5, then it is time to help them lose some weight. If they score a 1 or 2, they may need a trip to the vet to determine the source of their weight loss.
